The Limited Version of the DVD is approximately forty minutes in length. The first half of the video includes the portion of the seminar that deals specifically with the mechanics of the grip and toss. The second half of the video was filmed on a live table and includes toss and coaching segments by Heavy and several of his alumni students.

The Axis Power Craps Seiminar DVD is a must for those trying to perfect their DI skills ...... I have used the Freeze Frame and slow motion buttons on my DVD so often I am afraid I am going to wear out the DVD .......... I have never rewatched a DVD so much !! ..... I even bought a new DVD player to place near my practice rig
Heavy -- have you had this DVD rated by the Motion Picture Association ?? ..... the Menu music (similar to typical porn music) combined with the very Erotic Banana art over your shoulder in several scenes has to put this DVD near an R-Rating

The video editing software we used came with imbedded music in several genres. You simply picked the one you wanted and it automatically did the overlay. I find it MOST amusing that you recognize that as the porn theme - which it was! Too funny.
The banana art was, as I recall, on a posted promoting a street festival in Biloxi a few years back. Alas, everything you see in the dealer school was destroyed in the hurricane. However, they were able to save that big fish you see in the aquarium in some of the shots.

Heavy: I just copied and pasted your post and sent Mrs. Al a none-too-subtle e-mail about how that DVD would make a fine Christmas gift. She'll see it when she returns from Fort Myers Beach where she is spending a week with her bridge-playing gal buddies. Al.

I read the difference between the "Limited Version Axis Power Craps DVD" and the "Full Version Axis Power Craps DVD" and have the following question....
If at this point my main focus is to work on the grip and the toss would the "Limited Version Axis Power Craps DVD" be suffice?
Once I feel progress has been made then my focus can expand but right now I really need to show some improvement on my toss.

I forget what's different with the Full DVD as opposed to the Limited DVD. I'm sure you'll get alot out of either one, but I consider it kinda like golf.
I always tell people invest in lessons, even with an average set of clubs, you can shoot a great game if your swing is good.
I'd say the DVD is a good primer/refresher for like the basics. I'd still recommend that you take a one on one lesson with Heavy or Beau. This way, someone can examine your toss and see what's right/wrong. Everyone's toss is kinda different, it's not like the dealers comment, you've got the pendulum swing. Also, without knowing what's right/wrong with your toss, you might be reinforcing a bad habit/trait in your toss without knowing it by repeatedly practicing it.
Also, I think Heavy includes a DVD with his one on one's, so there you go!

The full version of the seminar on DVD contains pretty much everything from the class as we did it back in 2005. It runs around three hours, as I recall. The short version is roughly forty minutes long and contains only the portions of the seminar that deal with the dice set, grip, and toss - including shots of yours truly and others tossing - and me coaching students on how to improve their shots.

For the difference on cost ($100.00) and if you are serious about your career, get the full version. I purchased the full version last December and have watched it several times already. I can't imagine anything in the 3 hour version that I would not want to watch or learn from.
Plus, don't be surprised if the big guy throws in "extra" stuff that he has laying around.
